Sporting Aims & Provision

Through physical activities we aim to develop the children’s physique, their strength and stamina, together with their motor and co-ordination skills. We aim to encourage them to work co-operatively and with creativity as they build their skills.

The PE curriculum gives opportunities to take part in gymnastic activities, country dancing and creative movement and small games activities. Together with Wycombe Wanderers we offer Football coaching for year 1 and year 2 children.  In addition, through extra curricular activities, we have been able to offer Short Tennis coaching, Athletics, Dance, Mini-Blues and Rugby for those who wish to take part.

We place great importance on outdoor education.

In the Summer term each year we hold Sports Days for Year 2 and a whole School Sports Event on the Junior School field.
